santhwanamthrissur: Thrissur, Kerala, India; Santhwanam’ is the secretariat of social apostolate of the archdiocese of Trichur, under the patronage of Dr. Mar Andrews Thazhath, Metropolitan Archbishop of Trichur. It acts as the centre of coordinating the social activities performed by various social wings of the archdiocese namely Social Action, Social Welfare Centre, Save A Family Plan, Social Centre Housing, Slum Service Centre etc. As the very name indicates, Santhwanam is a centre of solace and comfort to the marginalised and those people in need. It is absolutely devoted to human welfare and is committed to helping those in acute distress.
